Biography

Max Silver is an award-winning writer, director and producer based in Los Angeles, CA.

He has worked with companies such as Netflix, Anonymous Content, Hulu, FX, Smuggler and Independent Media. His producing credits include SILICON BEACH (Feature Film, Dir. Max Gold), CORRIDOR FOUR (Feature Documentary, Dir. Stephen Tringali), THE ICE CREAM TRUCK (Feature Film, Dir. Meghan Freels) and SURFER’S PARADISE (Pilot, Dir. Max Gold), as well as many short films, web series, VR films, and music videos.  

Max is also a published writer of short stories and an optioned screenwriter. He has travelled the world with director Malcolm Venville on commercial shoots for Apple, Google, Nike and Microsoft among others.

Max’s directorial debut TRUNK SPACE won Best Screenplay at the Northeast Film Festival Horror Fest, the Shoestring Award at the Rochester International Film Festival, and was an official selection of the Austin Film Festival. 

Max hails from Chevy Chase, Maryland and attended undergraduate school at Carleton College, where he majored in Economics and Cinema & Media Studies.
