Biography

Max Silver is an award-winning writer, director and producer based in Los Angeles, CA. He currently works as a producer at Netflix.

Max has also worked with companies such as Anonymous Content, Hulu and FX. His producing credits include HOW TO DETER A ROBBER (starring Vanessa Marano, Chris Mulkey and Gabrielle Carteris) and USELESS HUMANS (starring Josh Zuckerman).  

Max is also a published author of short stories and an optioned screenwriter.

Max’s directorial debut TRUNK SPACE won Best Screenplay at the Northeast Film Festival Horror Fest, the Shoestring Award at the Rochester International Film Festival, and was an official selection of the Austin Film Festival. 

Max originates from Chevy Chase, Maryland, and has since developed a rudimentary background knowledge of Chevy Chase, the actor, if only to answer the inevitable follow-up questions.
